Co-operating closely with Managing Partners, Wojciech is the executive force behind business modelling, deal analysis, valuation, deal structuring, and negotiations. After executing investments, he supports portfolio companies in reaching long-term development and value creation goals. His experience at large industrial businesses provides a strong background for his current work in private equity.
In working with TFI Capital Partners, Wojciech has taken part in investments in Orbitvu, Ekoplast, iPOS, Monetia, and Onico, and has provided financial support for Gekoplast. In several cases, he has implemented controlling and reporting standards, and as interim CFO of Onico he introduced real-time deal evaluation and financial reporting tools.
Earlier, as Head of M&A at Capital Partners, Wojciech directed M&A advisory and IPO processes. He successfully finalized the sale of Gastromed (the top Polish gastroenterological clinic) to a strategic investor (LIFE Healthcare Group) at attractive multiples.
In his time at Boryszew/Impexmetal Group, Wojciech provided financial management for the acquisitions of tier-1 automotive suppliers with ca. EUR 400m in revenues: Maflow Group (Italy, China, Brazil, Spain, Japan, France), AKT Group (Germany, Czech Rep.), and Theysohn Group (Germany). Earlier, he implemented tools and led the capex management of EUR 25m+ annually at ca. 20 subsidiaries. He also served as project manager for three share public offerings and several M&A processes. He began his tenure in the Investor Relations department, which earned 4th place in Forbes ranking in 2008.
Wojciech’s experience at Boryszew/Impexmetal was supplemented by interim CEO positions at distressed affiliate companies. At CenterNet, he launched 5th full mobile network operator in Poland, despite significant financial limitation. He managed the restructuring of the deeply indebted Szopienice Works. Apart from significant cost-cutting measures, he co-invented and launched new high-margin niche naval brass products, reorganized the sales department, and implemented an incentive system, which resulted in new markets (e.g. Italy, USA, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Belarous). At Kuag Elana, a highly unprofitable chemical company, Wojciech reduced the run-rate net loss from EUR 15.6m to 4.8m within 3 months through changes to the product-mix and energy consumption.
Wojciech started his career as an analyst at one of the largest Polish brokerage houses and a local business consulting company, and Investor Relations intern at Asseco Poland (formerly Softbank).
Wojciech graduated from Szczecin University with a degree in Valuation and Financial Analysis.
